We are calling on sponsors and community organizers to join us in creating meaningful in-person and virtual gatherings to support those impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires. Together, we can create a space for healing, connection, and expression through the transformative power of art. These gatherings will offer an opportunity to come together, be present, and find solace in the shared act of creating. We are seeking sponsors to help fund supplies and resources needed to make these events impactful, as well as community organizers willing to promote and co-host gatherings both in Los Angeles and virtually. Your support can help us create spaces where people can find comfort, hope, and unity in this challenging time. Let’s connect to make it happen.

THE TIME IS NOW

As we start this healing process, I hope to create a space that uses the transformative and healing power of art to help us be more present, manage stress, and navigate the chaos and anxiety many are feeling right now.

For anyone in need of this support, I want to offer these experiences for free—a safe space where local groups, whether from the Palisades, Altadena or the wider Los Angeles area, can come together. Even if it’s just for an hour, I hope we can create something that brings comfort, reduces stress, and fosters a sense of connection. I believe experiences like these will only grow in importance as we move forward.

Right now, the immediate focus is, of course, on solving critical needs—shelter, food, clothing and reuniting with loved ones, including pets. But as we begin to stabilize, I hope we can use the coming weeks as an opportunity to organize community events that offer healing and connection.

I envision sharing different art processes to facilitate healing, such as a collage class where participants create art from fragmented pieces, symbolizing resilience and rebuilding. Another option could be a mindful watercolor or marbling session, designed to bring calm and focus through the soothing flow of color and water.

Whether you have a venue, a group of people who could benefit, or ideas to contribute, I’m open to possibilities. I want to bring art and mindfulness into these experiences to help support our community. I may not know the "how" yet, but I am deeply connected to the "what" and the "why."
